I actually thought about it. I know my truck is heavily modded but, I do believe it still looks clean and not over the top and gaughty. I’m afraid if I did do them it may start to be too much.........I’m open to opinions.

So I was thinking the tx pro I got had a upgrade in suspension?
Guess now I’m wondering about my 265/75/16’s rubbing or being close.
My 08 base needed the flaps to be massaged to not rub.
The tx has room in the wheel well now but has no flaps and 245/75/16’s.
Was the OR suspension more front lift than the base?

The Tx Pro has the same suspension as an off-road I believe, nothing special. All that model comes with are the fake beadlock wheels, TRD exhaust, and a sticker package. My model, the Tx Baja comes with the same as yours (different stickers though) and the upgrades suspension. Almost identical to the TRD Pro.

So did the OR have more front lift than the base?
It kinda looks more leveled all ready?
Could be the leafs are worn.

I’m not sure on the stances of the OR and base.....I never had one and kept the stock suspension on long enough to know. The leafs are a weaker point that no matter the model they will go at some point......

I’ll find out after the snow melts.
It may not be a Baja but it’s got more extras than my base did.
    I had manual everything before.

lol those little buttons that make windows go up and down!

The OR doesn’t have more front lift than the Base but I believe it does have different shocks. My bad if you already mentioned it but the cab configuration usually plays a small role in any height differences. It for sure looks like you got the TX Pro from your avatar

Yea it’s a tx I did some homework and knew it was basically a or with wheels exhaust and stickers.
Guess I thought the or may have had some extra lift in front.
like I say mine was totaled day before thanksgiving.
Didn’t want new and needed 4 door short bed.
The 4 door long didn’t work with the garage.
They are pretty limited on used around here.
I bought this outright once I knew mine was done.
    Pretty pleased with so far.
I might remove the stickers this summer.
Not sure how they will handle being machine buffed.

    Thank you!
    I miss my 08 though.
    It was simple!
The black sand pearl was a bitch.
Had it since 2011 and put over 150k on it myself.

Yeah, that’d be a tough one to lose. I love extended cabs when lifted.

Crap I was hoping to leave shit stock.
Did the raise the front then raise the front again. Now it’s nose hi gotta lift the ass.
Maybe I’ll do it right the first time this time.
Wife is already on me about what I’d done to the last one. Wasn’t much left stock from when I got it. I got oem lights and grill head unit speakers etc I gotta get rid of to help ease her pain.
Gotta say it held value well.
    A 08 at 194k I almost rolled the 200 mark!
I was meticulous about maintenance and with her Subaru also. Both have been paid for since 2014 so I was a happy camper.
At least still no payments still.
Just waiting for the insurance check to put back away.
I looked at some 3rd gens and got this instead.
Actually when I bought the 08 I could have gotten a new cheby with warranty.
I left with the taco and no warranty.
Happy I did. Sucks some kid ran a light and killed it.
I love the AC long bed but the wife didn’t like giving up the front seat to the dog.
Hoping the 265/75/16’s will work without stuffing them in.
The v6 is a beast compared to my 2.7.
Those farmers in their fancy tractors won’t be passing and flipping me off anymore!!!!

You should be just fine with 265’s. To lift the rear, providing your not hauling or towing, a progressive aal would work just fine for you. Also it’s budget friendly

    Lol
I ordered a tonneau, mud flaps, bulbs for the interior switch’s.
I got a black rear bumper shell that was supposed to go on the 08 this coming summer.
Looking at getting rid of some chrome.
    Gotta change the grille also.
Need seat covers and a dog protector for the back seat.
I paid 19k for the 08 with 40k in 2011 insurance paid me 12,5k or will once the check shows up.
I get this has more options but I paid the same for this one.
The 08 was 3 yrs old and 40k.
This is 8 yrs old with 130k crazy shit.
Im still happy with what I got.
Remote starter will happen soon also not sure which one to get yet?
Dealer just replaced front diff along with the sais tires etc.
I found diff fluid on my garage floor.
They replaced the axle shafts needle bearing and seals.

Nice, a lot of stuff you won’t have to do. What you do want won’t be too hard on the wallet either

yes I agree if I do it again I’ll do it right!
My 08 had 5100’s at 1.75 stock springs.
I did 1” blocks in the rear to make it level.
    I don’t haul or tow.
