Shocks don't support the vehicle in that way. You've got other problems.

Also, just looking at the pics you posted. Where are your bump stops? What's the shock part #? It looks like you're going to bottom out the shock well before you hit any other limitation.

You know, I wondered about the same thing with the bump stops. I hire my work out so all I can do is hope that I'm being taken care of.
Idk the part number though its the 2.0 fox shocks, its been so long since I bought them.

    4 run, 2 don't
Longer shocks without a means of protecting them = blown shock.

I'm pretty sure I answered your post or thread sometime back about longer shocks and the need for extended bump stops. Unless I'm confusing you for someone else.

I took all weight out of the back and it made no difference. I looked the leafs over best I could and it doesn't look like any are broke.

If gets compressed too much or extended too far? I'm not sure maybe you did.
But that doesn't explain why my leaf springs aren't holding my truck up where it should be

rear looks fine for supporting the truck(aside from the issues of too-long U bolts with no bump stop and too long of shock)
I'm guessing the issue has nothing to do with the rear and is actually an issue with the driver side front leading to the whole truck leaning

Uppermost leaf in the pack , not really designed to hold the weight, the rest of the leaves do but what it does do is stiffen the front of the spring pack to help reduce axle wrap/wheel hop from the pack twisting under load

The front of the truck is lower by 3/4 of an inch on the drivers side. Why would that bring the rear drivers side down by 2.5 inches

Does anything look out of order in the front?

    20201230_161036.jpg 20201230_161027.jpg 20201230_161015.jpg

Other than the rust that is getting worse by the day.

It can multiply the lean a bit from the wheelbase of the truck. Park on completely level concrete and measure wheel center to the edge of the fender on all 4 corners to get an accurate picture of the height/lean at each corner.
