I’m thinking of going with this same setup. What leafs are you running? Also, what size tire are you running in that pic?

Nice truck! Looking at going with pretty much the same setup.

This is an obnoxious question but when you do end up measuring would you mind also measuring roughly from the ground to top of the cab? Looks a little higher than I'd imagined, was hoping to not have an issue with garage clearance.

I am running the Dakar heavy duty leaf pack in the rear with Bilstein 5100's. Originally I had Bilstein 5100's with OME 888 in the front but I lost some lift and ride was too soft for me.

Tire size is 275/70/17. I had 285's initially but they rubbed with my old set up.

Just got the truck aligned today. I'll try to get some new measurements on flat ground to see what everything ended up at and post them here. I'll try to remember to get the top of the cab as well.

I know I’m on Tacomaworld... but any chance these come out for a gen 1 tundra?

Go on the Dobinson direct . Com. They have lifts for gen 1 Tundra but not the MRR version.

I’d guess eventually but they don’t even offer the MRR for the tundra front end yet. Dobinsons is awesome, I just upgraded from their regular lift shocks to the MRR just for the adjustment ability. No complaints about the non MRR system.

First gen Tundra is basically the precursor to the second gen Tacoma anyway :D

Yes, that's not a problem. They're the same price, so just put a note in your order if/when you do order that you want the LT rear shocks instead of the standard ones. Just gotta make sure you add the right parts to go with them (brake lines, bump stops)

Nice- thanks for the help! Do you think MRR in rear and the aforementioned IMS in front would be a good pair? Perhaps the front would be lacking in performance compared to the rear.

Anybody know how these do in terms of corrosion resistance in comparison to King/ADS? (Elka obviously the best for corrosion resistance).

Had 2nd and 3rd Gen Tacoma guys get that setup, as they're looking for adjustable ride in the rear when the weight in the bed changes, or they tow, and haven't had a single complaint. The main difference is that the front just isn't adjustable, but everything about the IMS is the same as the MRA, is just doesn't have the external resi and hose and the 3 levels of adjustment. The piston, IFP, size and everything is the same.

Hey mate, any chance you can edit that old post to my current email address? exitoffroad@gmail.com

That old address is dead and doesn't go anywhere and others keep trying to use it.
