What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got this in the mail today.....a little piece of mind.

 

Found a bolt from my cbi skids that had loosened to only about two threads, was hanging down a couple inches or so... It's tight now

 

I’d leave them on until it warms up then redo the tape. I can’t imagine you’ll be rolling the windows down in 3° weather so they’ll stay put.

Do those really work? They've always seemed like a gimmick.

 

Took it in to the dealer this evening for my 15,000 mile Toyota care service. All is still good and haven’t had any issues so far. Hoping to get around to installing my Meso puddle lights this weekend, if I get the time.

 

I’ve used them in the past successfully. You just need to be sure and get it to a tire shop and have them patch the inside once you’re back to civilization. Only time they’re useless is of course if you puncture the sidewall.

That engine compartment is not dirty enough yet.

 

I know they’re supposed to be for emergencies but I’m cheap and used them on my old car without changing the tire or any issues afterwards.

 

Know plenty of people who have been saved by the ARB patch kits on serious trails.

 

Got to finally test my build this year (well mods 1-4) up in the cascade mountains last Saturday.
