Front brakes still work. Rears don't.
Pull the ABS fuse, lift the rear tires and hold the brakes. They will spin at idle.

The files are locked to magnuson.

Nobody except magnuson can view them.

Making a tune for the SC isn't an option for us at this time. We would be competing against magnuson and ourselves.

It makes more sense for us to update and expand our software so magnuson can continually improve the tune they provide to you.

Once you get in the realm of smaller pulleys, fuel mods, etc, that's out of magnusons scope and that's where we can provide software assistance.

Exactly this. I wouldn’t mind messing around with smaller pulleys and fuel upgrades later on but at a baseline it would be cool if we could utilize all those small improvements. That’s what I was asking Magnusson about and they said to ask OV about getting those features in the tune. The confusion for me comes in at Matt’s earlier point that only Magnusson can access their own tune. I’m not well versed in tuning personally, but there’s gotta be someone out there willing/able to make a proper SC tune.

    Are smaller pulleys even available?

Already there and no idea where to start for a FI tune. Basically because I am, until my kit comes, NA. Would need to know what perimeters to focus on to ensure base tune is solid in all necessary FI perimeters. Yep I am lost but smart enough to know I don't know squat about tuning.

I thought he said Max hp was 350 before you run out of fuel and would need upgrades. Don't quote me though. Memory sucks.

Low pressure (in tank) fuel pump starts to fail to maintain pressure during sustained high loads / high fueling (for example doing a full 3rd gear to 4th gear pull) after about 350HP (whp).

Fuel pressure and flow imbalances on the direct injectors start becoming a real problem pushing into the 400hp range. This is where you must tune fuel for each cylinder individually (which you can do with vF Tuner Pro).

400+ Range you need to consider :
    higher flow DI injectors
Low pressure pump capable of sustaining maximum pressure for long periods. (for example our in-tank setup and pump control boosts fuel pressure to as much as 90 psi during high load) That feeds the DI only, as we shut off PI during boost.
Widebands on each bank and analysis of what each bank is doing, and tune each CYLINDER according to AFR you're seeing.

On our TT setup, once you start going past about 10-12psi (powermax, equivalent to about 400+ whp / 450+ BHP) you start seeing BANK 1 leaning out, this is due to a pressure drop from one rail to the other. Primary feed is in bank 2, and bank 2 receives post - bank 1 flow.

So when you see "3000psi" on bank2, bank 1 will be higher, 32-3300 psi. This is during highest fuel demand (full boost, higher RPM), and where you see AFR imbalances starting to occur.

Then you'll need to calibrate high fuel pump bleed control and duty limits. Because if you don't you can see a +/- 250-300 psi swing during very high boost.

in my opinion, once you start pushing higher boost / higher HP you *must* have a wideband on each bank.

    So you think >

    high pressure pump location >

Bank 1 cylinders ( should get relatively same pressures)
    Bank 2 is your problem.
    Bank 2 cylinder 6 / 4 /2

with cylinder 2 receiving the Least of total fuel pressure / volume.

The way toyota setup the dual bank individual feed returnless systems on the PI and the DI makes high HP tuning of this engine very complicated.

If I was going to look for that type of power I would certainly be listening and following your advice. My immediate and basic need is to ensure the shifting logic for gears and tires for the AT is incorporated into the base Magnuson tune. I know the Calibration requests that type of information and some others (exhaust) but it seems like those running their tune are experiencing performance that would indicate these factors may not have been taken into account. I'd sure like to speak with the Magnuson person who can elaborate with hands on knowledge. Calling their tech line is like the wheel of fortune - you don't know who you are going to get and if they have any knowledge about their Tune for their supercharger they developed with vFTuner software. Toss us a name.

I only provide software to magnuson. I can't give out names nor can I provide assistance for their product. Sorry.

totally get it and understand. Where there is a will there is a way. Just knowing they have your software to use makes those of us with vFtuner have a higher level of comfort it will get done - eventually.

ordered and waiting. Delivery probably 3 weeks out. going to start working on the tech contact side soon to see what they know and what they are not willing to mention. Pretty sure I am gong to hear we can't do that because we are in the middle of CARB testing - fine but then what are you doing with the information necessary for "Calibration" if you are not using it to create a vehicle specific (stock or re-geared) tune..... If they convenience me they are actually using the reported mods to create the tune then I will be okay with it - trust me I will call and speak with every tech I can - and get with my sales person and cross check for the bs factor.
