She’s alluded to wrapping up the remaining preorders tonight. Maybe that’s not on. I was hoping she’d get that shipping fee thing sorted. And quickly.

Just installed it. I did have to bend the top bracket ever so slightly like others mentioned but since i knew that up front and did it from the get go, install took less then 10 minutes. It is really SOLID and should hold for the long run. The only thing like everyone mentioned is the covers look like cheap China plastics, but i wet sand the edges with some 800 grit wet sandpaper and it smooth it all out. I am happy with it for sure. Definitely worth the money, not so sure about the wait. People jumping on board now will be happy and satisfied. Just wont ever crowd fund again.1C53438D-BF13-4363-A247-E94DB2698E1D.jpg

Nope... just a bunch of real estate, prostate, hey honey, buy gold now, I saw your profile, oil boom coming now, and instahard emails in my junk pile. Inbox looks about the same. That's what happens with a 25 year old email address.

Just wanted to put this out there, and I'm sure others will chime in, but the loss of visibility really depends on how tall you are (because you'll have your seat slid all the way back).

At first, it seemed like 1/4" loss, but after driving at night, I'm 6'-0" tall, and actually lost more like 1-1/4" of visibility. :notsure:

This may or may not come into play for some folks, but if you're tall, or have OCD, this mod may not be right for you. I'm keeping it for now to see if I get used to it.... :tumbleweed:

Edit: I've personally gotten over it, and the handle doesn't seem to bother me as much anymore. :notsure:

From the responses I’ve seen so far it looks like once again she said one thing and didn’t do the other, yet.

    Good grief!

Going to be interesting for me. 6'4" and I keep the seat waaaay back. But I do keep it pretty vertical. I guess I could go test it out on the passenger side to get pre-disappointed :)

Jeez, I need a little nip of something.

On the TacomaBeast listing, it says the hex bolts are 2 different lengths. I didn't even notice. Did anyone else notice and if they are indeed different lengths, which length is for which hole?

Per the instructions on her website, the short bolt on top and long bolt on bottom.

Yep. Two different lengths. They stick out the same amount before threading if you got them right.

I could understand that, since the top bracket is threaded itself, while the bottom bracket isn't, and relies on the threaded "J" nut behind it. In theory, then, the lower bracket could use a little longer reach for the bolt.

Nevertheless, the bolts that I received were exactly the same length, and were no problem at all.

Thanks. I better pull them out and check. I remember them both being the same length when screwing in so i may have got it correct.

At least they are both M6-1.00.

It's on Facebook how to pay. Not sure how you are to supposed to know if you don't use that platform. I'm not on it personally but saw the post earlier since trying to figure out WTF is going on. I assume the holdup is shipping but since no answers to email, not entirely sure. She is probably swamped with new orders now since the video went up this morning.
