That is the situation. All paid up and no go. It’s like Jeckl and Hyde with her. All nice and friendly with things going well one moment then the next interaction warrants a lecture about how busy she is and can't do everyone's order at once, blah, blah ...

All we ask is that you fulfill your end of the bargain (preferably without all the fanfare) and we’ll go away and never darken your ordering portal again.

I think the Mods have already spoken in that regard when she was banned. It's up to us individually to police ourselves. I've failed based on my bowl light experience so I've already demonstrated my weakness.

No doubt there. But the next BS project is around the corner, like the DC rear handles. This thread will eventually peter out. It's the new threads that either need to be locked down or at least have a firm 'buyer beware' warning edited in from the start.

But like you coming back for more from KTJO4x4 mods, I can't keep from posting here with the new BS that keeps going on.

 

I don't see the two metal bushings. On mine, they came in the hardware packet, but they may already be pressed into the holes in the handle. Better check.

 

From the FB pics after the initial cover fiasco, I believe they are installed under the covers already.

@mattleg - I'm not yet ready to commit to making unique mounts for the 3rd Gen that work only with these KTJO4x4 handles, given all the /production/fulfillment issues I see on this thread.

But I still would like a guinea pig to try our 2nd Gen Tacoma mount with these handles. KTJO tried them with the prototype and thought they worked well, but I'd like an independent 3rd party to confirm (or let me know what tweaks would be needed).

There isn’t even a pattern to who is getting these, from what I can tell.

But there should be one more post added to the original thread with a link to this thread. So that the unsuspecting can see how this KTJO "preorder project" ended up. It's entirely possible that someone could come across that thread and never find this one.

Did anyone else see the latest instructions from KTJO on facebook about how to pay for shipping fees from Wednesday Night? I haven't gotten any email from her about my shipping..
