I have the SCS SR8 in -10 4.5 BS. I am really wanting to run that 285/75. What all did you have the cut and trim? Was it a pain in the ass?

Just a cmc and some light fender liner trimming. I have no issue with cutting this truck up.

That might be the way I go then, I want that extra little bit of lift with the tire going with 75 instead of 70. I heard at full compression you rub, but I’m not looking to rock crawl. So they might run good, I don’t mind cutting either. I just picked up in late October a 2013 DCSB Tacoma TSS package. 4x4 with only 19,000 miles on it, currently sitting at 21,000. Thanks for the help and info man.

I don’t rub at full lock and full compression. As long as you cut enough they fit perfectly. You have a lesser offset so you’ll likely have a lot less cutting than me

That’s really good to know. I still am not very understanding of all that. I can’t wait to get the set up and see what it looks like.

also, with those tires, those are the same exact ones I want. How much miles do you have on them and how are they wearing?

Miss how the Tepui sat on the truck but didn’t like the weight and limited places to be with a tent. Not to mention waking up in the middle of the night to take a drunk piss could be dangerous LOL547B9E90-A844-4394-B7B3-080E1EDE4234.jpgFB80C9C1-BC9A-49E7-8090-BC430DEDCBDD.jpg01FA7142-CC4C-4216-99D4-4B4724D96D0D.jpg8A5CC60D-BA3D-4EB7-B65E-EA8C8515E148.jpg4C03FEF9-473F-4EE1-9581-0E3700EA490A.jpg

Won’t be doing many mods. Bed mat for sure. Maybe tonneau cover later. Will have to figure out a way to chain up all 4s. Have a cabin in the mountains that requires chains on all 4s to get to in the winter and we go every chance we get.
