Chinese are masters at copying packages and labels to make their products more credible. Surprised they didnt put a certified of authenticity in the box or a Toyota hologram sticker on it. lol

 

You know she could have removed the passenger side trim and handle for weights and dimensions. Use that for the shipping estimate. KT hasn't shown the ability to think ahead and plan for the future.

People here are frustrated, and rightfully so. This thread was a love fest as the boat was sailing to California... but the attitude turned to shit, when KT started fulfilling orders for recent sales, prior to fulfilling orders of the long time backers. It's absurd and shows an extreme level of disrespect to those that believed in her and her product.

Sorry if it hurts your feelings, but KT is a shit business woman and will eventually fail, if she doesn't get her shit together.

I'm sure she's happy that she has a loyal customer in you... a fool is born every day, right?

She could of included a note when she was asking for shipping address confirmation for the people that still owed the shipping fee with instructions on how to handle, but i guess thats too forward thinking... Also always plays the i'm a one person show but clearly she has help in her videos.......

Unfortunately it's really easy to get in over your head, especially when you don't have direct control of the logistics. Not that that's an excuse for her, but best intentions and all.....

 

Very true and can be acceptable if handled well. Usually that includes personal responsibility, acceptance and at least an 'I'm sorry,' and a corrective action that fixes the issue(s). None of that happened.

@angtlalaska its kind of like this: Imagine toyota announces a revamped tacoma and are taking preorders if paid in full. You happily do so because it sounds promising and looks cool. Dealership happily takes your payment in full and occassional chimes in throughout the year with updates, delays, and teasers about the new Tacomas being made and on their way. The day finally comes a year later where it is announced that the Toyotas will begin to be distributed and you can't wait because you preordered. You show up at the dealership and there you see all these brand new Tacomas just sitting in the lot and you say, "When do I get mine?" only to receive the response of, "Well, you see we are only a small dealership and very busy but you will get yours soon!". That's strange though, because you are standing there watching people come in and say, "Hey I just heard that there's a new Tacoma, can I buy one right now? Here's the money" and the dealership hands them the keys and sends them on their way. But you say, "hey wait can I get mine too then? I already paid, look I have the receipt and you even posted on your website that I placed an order a year ago". The dealership shrugs their shoulders, all while taking money and handing out keys to people just walking in off the street and say, "look guy, we are super busy and we will get to you when we get to you". Then you see a bunch of Tacomas being loaded onto a transporter and ask what's going on with those. Again, as they take new customers and hand out keys they respond with, "OH well it turns out that the new Tacoma is pretty popular so we have now taken it upon ourselves to have Tacomabeast to sell these Tacomas to new customers, but again we are only a small operation, very busy, and we will get to you when we get to you"

The whole time you are sitting there with a preorder as trucks are sold to new customers and being shipped out to distributors and everyone is driving their trucks around.

Then a dealership rep walks up to you and says, "Sir, you haven't paid for shipping"

KTJO won't fail unfortunately. They have a huge ego and a "can't ever fail or be wrong" pompous attitude that fits right in there with Tacomabeasts. I suspect that was the reason that the mods had a huge problem with KTJO. The fact that they could never be wrong, and that they should be allowed to do whatever they want. Unfortunately that sort of attitude goes a long way these days as long as you have social media presence and "lifestyle" branding.

Yeah. Or even worse, it's like you walk into that Toyota dealership and you're the Invisible Man. They act like they don't even see you or hear you speak. They totally ignore you as a prepaid/preorder customer, as they continue to sell vehicles right in front of your eyes.

Once she had the units in hand (Dec 13, 2020) she was in complete control of distribution. That's what this is all about.

I heard someone mention on the radio this morning that congress was playing games with other peoples’ money.
