But if you CAN pay cash for it, you shouldn't. It's so cheap to borrow it makes ZERO sense to tie big funds up in depreciating assets.

On paper you’re right. But unless you’re using that money instead for VERY safe investments that earn more than it would cost you to finance it doesn’t always work. I just stick to paying cash.

@Bubbles youll also tend to spend more when financing vs paying cash. Want this option? Only $15 more a month. Add on this package? It’s just $62 more a month. Etc.

When you know that money is coming right out of your account you make your decisions more thoughtfully. And I negotiate better too.

Just personal experience. Not my place to tell anybody else what to do with their (or the banks) money.

I don't care how much car payment I can afford, if it's over $300, I won't buy it. I financed the GX with Lexus Financial. Cheap rate, cheap payment and really easy to pay it down quick by paying extra.

Of course I shop bottom line, not by payment.

They make some Porsches for 50K or maybe even less. Spread that bad boy out over 144 months. Should be good to go

You can sleep in a car but you can't race a house.

Came into the corner too hot:

I live in the middle of a blind corner for those who haven’t been to my house. I have to roll down the windows to listen for cars when pulling out of the driveway.

I’d go help but I’m watching my kids and I sold all my recover gear to @MGMStudioTaco plus I’m making lunch.
