    Well... this week has turned out to be a bit shitty..

    wife started coughing pretty bad, mild low grade fever. since she has underlying health issues I basically demanded she call the dr and get a covid test.

    Yesterday, get a call from my foreman at work, one of our crew tested positive for Covid, just great... I share a truck with this guy. We are now in a mandatory 10 quarantine from the last day we worked 12/24.. ok not too awful.. back to work 1/4 use a weeks vacation time and only short 4 days per diem. Since I have started to cough and have a couple other symptoms pop up, I go and get tested as well yesterday.

    today, we get a call saying wife is positive for Covid.. so now my unplanned vacation gets stretched out to where I will now miss a minimum of 2 weeks work that is if my test comes back negative.... which at this point I can not say I super confident that it will be negative.

    Rang in the new year by slamming some hot chocolate, watching Dexter, and catching the occasional firework go off behind my house*. HNY!

    *for whatever reason, these people blew their load at like 7:30, 8pm. Come midnight, there was nothing left in the tank except for Black Cats, it seems.
