Neither of them were really all that bad. LASIK kind of sucked for me because they were removing so much cornea. The retinal reattachment was painless. Worst part of that day was the Covid test.

So they used one of those deals for the above procedures. Every time the docs dragged it out, this scene was the first thing that came to mind. Even though you don't even notice the thing after a while, I got worked up thanks to this movie and scene. Thanks Kubrick.

My LASIK procedure was far worse in my imagination that the actual event. I will say it was terrifying going blind in each eye for a few seconds when you knew your eye was open.

I think anything involving the eye is. The part of mine that nearly drove me to leaving was when they made the incision. To this day, I couldn't describe the sensation. I wouldn't say pain, by maybe the most intense pressure you can imagine. It was bad enough that when they went to the second eye I was ready to leave. And now that I think about it, the laser made me jump. According to the person that took me, watching was worse. They said my eye was very bloody during. Who ever thought it was a good idea to put a window into the operating room should be fired.

It's a shame Instagram doesn't count video views/likes towards the Top 9 thingy. @EatSleepTacos is in 1 of my pics :D
