    Anyone switched from Total Chaos because of the noise? It seems like their uniballs last me 2 years before making loud clinks over every pavement crack.

    OME bp51 suspension, ARB front bumper, 1200 lb winch
    I will have a pair of used Pro Comp Uni ball UCA's with brand new bushings for sale, a little cosmetic damage but other wise in great shape. $300 shipped.
    will post pics if interested.
    I just purchased SPC's to try to get my caster and camber in check rather than putting my truck back in the frame shop (it had front end damage from the previous owner).
    I am running an OME BP 51 kit front and rear that gives about 2.5" of lift with 285/75/17's (33's)

    depending on where you live they can die at 1 year lol. its a open uniball. I feel those open uniballs are best left to people in non winter climents lol

    Agreed 100%. I have SPC's now, besides some occasional small squeaks they have been much quieter.

    After seeing uniballs die in 1-2 years I would 100% stick to SPC. I've only seen one SPC die early and it was due to install error.

    Like to keep it simple so I chose the high caster JBAs to pair with my 885 coils and 5100s. Install was fairly easy and the have been flawless.

    Standard.

    No offense to users, but the tacoma (or any IFS vehicle) is the last thing i'd take into any serious trails.

    Why is that? Lots of IFS (modified, just like straight axles) take on crawling and can drive home afterwards. Just depends on getting the right set up. No stock vehicles can take on serious trails, not without issues.

    Laughable but I passed more solid axel jeeps and the like in my tacoma. Certainly bennies for solid axels, but in terms of multi use daily driving, IFS wins every battle and with the same mods that solids get, they're usually only damaged by over exuberance by their drivers.
