It's a shame too as some of the breakdowns/repairs are epic. Go up to the call and are just mesmerized at what just happened to only realize "shit, I'm the one that's gotta fix this..."

 

You wanna talk shipping horror stories... here’s one for ya. Ordered kitchen cabinets for my customers home, only $15,500 dollars. Get a call Tuesday, your delivery will be tomorrow (Wednesday the 30th) between 1 and 5, the driver will call 30 minutes before. I sit and wait from 1-5 and no call no cabinet. Call the idiots at the freight company “they were delivered yesterday at 2:30, signed for”ummmm no, they weren’t I was here all day. The fucking morons delivered the cabinets to the fucking neighbor down the street. I get it, you drive a truck all day, I figured the least would be reading skills when looking at addresses, guess I was wrong. Luckily the neighbor finally read the box and figured it wasn’t his cabinet order (talk about coincidence) and came over. Hand truck and an hour later I got them all over.

 

Yes, I'm still at it, today is a self-proclaimed rest day. I'll be back in a tree somewhere tomorrow. It goes out Jan 17.

So we can carry over 240 hours of vacation from one calendar year to the next. I just checked my leave balance - I'm currently at 251.65 hours. Subtract the 20.5 that I took off in the last week and add back in what I've accrued in the last two weeks and that puts me at 237.75 for 12-31-2020. Click over one more day to 1-1-2021 and I'll have 243.82.

Went and took down a couple deer blinds and drug mine through the mud.

 

Just put some deer backstraps in some marinade for a Saturday smoke.

 

Bent balls and dirty balls. I like where this is going.

 

I love that brown sugar bourbon seasoning but I tend to go a little overboard with it.
