I was looking a few mountains that I grew up skiing at because I haven't been in probably 15 years. Holy hell have lift ticket prices gotten expensive.

Hahahaha. Ya they are crazy. It makes much more sense to get a season pass if you're going to go more than a few times.

It's utter lunacy to see what they charge for a freakin' lift ticket. I don't see it offered this year but for the past few years the only time I have gone is the "Last Call" pass at Pats Peak. It was $29 for something like 6:30 pm till they close at 9:30 or something? It was awesome, I'd get 6 runs in and then go to the bar for munchies and a drink.

last two years I've just worked at the local mountain a couple days a week. This year I'm in rentals monday-tuesday night. Much better than outside being a lifty like last year. Get free passes, discounts and make a little extra money when we our business isn't very productive anyways.

I used to run ski trips to sugarloaf USA so my skiing was free but back then we were charging $25 for either all day skiing, or half day skiing and half day lesson, and rentals were included! And the price included a two hour trip to the mountain on a coach bus!

Yeah I managed a shop for many years so I skied everywhere for free. One year I logged 130 days on snow. For the East coast that's a lot. It was almost exactly an hour to get to Mt. Snow for me, so even the days I was on the schedule for noon I'd be on the first lift and leave by 10:45. Be selling skiboots and making custom footbeds by noon! Back then the only thing I actually owned were my boots. I'd just grab a set of the latest and greatest demos. And even the boots, I was skiing the top boots that I paid almost nothing for. So now it kills me to buy gear, but more so the damn lift tickets! I think it's $165 for a prime time day pass at Killington!

Just called Pats Peak, can still get the Last Call pass at the window!! No call ahead or anything. Pumped to hear that, it's all I am going to do for skiing.

Getting a bunch of guys together to play some hockey New Year’s Day. Generally I don’t do anything for New Years anyways but I do try to capitalize on any extra days off I get

As usual. Even as a drinker back in the day I hated leaving the house.

We plan to take ours down this weekend and have a traditional burning of the Christmas tree. They're usually so dry they go up like they were dosed with gasoline!

Glad I saw your post. :) I had a set installed on my '19 Tacoma this morning. Been over on Amazon reading reviews and folks don't speak too highly of them. I could of went with Bosch Icons for more money but I saw the $10.00 off on the Trico Force. People complaining about chatter but I use Wolfgang Rinseless Wash UBER as a detail spray. I clean my windshield with it after every wash so it should be plenty slick and I'm hoping I won't have a issue with chatter.

The wipers the came on my '18 F-150 were awesome, I got a year and a half out of them without any issues. A bunch of research let me to find that OEM on the F-150s was the Trico Force. I bought some and sure enough, they were identical and just as good as the OEMs. My 2020 F-150 had different OEM blades and they were horrible, so I ordered Trico NeoForms due to past experience with the Forces and the slightly better reviews. They chattered a lot I ended up ditching them for the Forces. They've been great ever since.

I ran Bosch and Rain-X wipers on my Tacoma and they always started out great but didn't hold up for more than a few months without chattering.

Brother I'm glad to hear that. My OEM blades had been going strong just over 2 years till this morning. I was not paying attention and they were froze to the windshield after I drove across town to my uncles visitation last night and the snow melted over night and this morning I thought I was being careful busting them loose from the glass and pulled the rubber off about 3 inches. I said a few cuss words then headed to O'Reillys before going to the cemetery this morning. I have faith now in these Trico Force blades after reading your reply. Happy New Year!

2020 is not ending without more crap lol. Monday, FIL attempted suicide, hes still alive and we are doing whatever possible to get hom the real help he needs cause his therapist clearly isnt helping and made some errors in not seeking help for him when he literally told her what was up.

Also moving into new office for work and after I loaded my truck again the tailgate handle broke. (Pop and lock) lasted 7 years. Had to take stuff apart to get it out lol.

Right before leaving work email that was extremely delayed on both parties but potentially exposed to the Covid.......

Here's to a much better 2021! For all!

Thoughts and good vibes your way. I got quarantined earlier this month. Morton Hospital’s turnaround is a day (my BIL and SIL got tested this week). Good Sam was 5 days for me, which was great because I got paid not to work, but the kids were nutty.
