What are you paying for your 2021 Tacoma? (price thread)

Are people really paying a markup?
And off course the dealer adds a bunch of other useless add ons to jack up the price

Anyone in SoCal get a great deal on a TRD off-road 4wd at a dealer?

 

Nope I’ve tried two different dealers, they all told me high demand and limited quantity

 

Fly into the Midwest and drive it home. TRD OR 4x4s with tech and premium packages selling for 40-41k prior to taxes. I can’t believe people pay these dealer markups. Blows my mind.

 

Texas (DFW area) will work deals. 4-5k is probably worth the flight and drive home. At least it would be to me.

 

got mine close to 40k brand new fully loaded with a bunch of options. I think my monthly now is around $445 after the lease was up.

I would tend to disagree. I would consider these middle of the road German luxury cars.

 

I was shopping for a truck since early February, right when this shit show of a year really started, held off due to teleworking, and stumbled upon Molle Toyota in Kansas City, MO. These guys don't mess around, gave me all pricing over email, reserved a truck for me within minutes and held for a week until I could get there. Purchased on 10 Dec and couldn't be happier!

I am in Kansas so tax and registration will be paid soon, but all in OTD I will be right around $31K.

 

I am finding this to be true as well. Many are sold before they even reach the lot. What percentage I don't know but the few I call the dealers on, each time "it was sold on a pre-order".

 

Best I can get is MSRP - only looking at TRD Offroads, 4x4 with Premium package and advanced tech package. Unclear if I went to just the TRD OR 4x4 with just the tech package it I would have more luck.

 

If that’s the case, you might as well get the largest dealer in your area to find the truck you want.

Found a Voodoo Blue and an Army Green TRD Off-road fully loaded MSRP:$44,672. They are offering me either one for $40,840. What do you people think?
