Charcoal and post Oak. The ash box is great to put in small chunks in.

Nice. Glad to see it’s running well. I’m going to look into a GF next year after we get settled in the new place.

Y'all, I don't have the energy for a full update, but this thing fucking home. The drive home was sm ooth and stable, if not a bit thirsty.

It's here, though. Beyond excited - I was nearly in tears.

I'll update more tomorrow with the saga, the solution, and final impressions, but for now, here's a couple pics. I also need to give the biggest heartfelt shout out to @Bigdaddy4760 . The most selfless person I've ever met. The gratitude I owe him is beyond measure. Love that guy like a brother.

Nice work strapping it down. Nice ramp too, how many guys does it take to move it? ;)

The ramp is a pretty good balance between being sturdy enough for the smoker and still manageable enough for one person.

The smoker would definitely take two people to roll up the ramp manually. With the winch, however, one dude with the remote can get it up there no problem. A little care to make sure it stays lined up on the ramp is all - the winch does the hard part.

Lots of redundancy in the straps, too! Don't want that MF'r sliding around back there!

Was definitely great to see it in the trailer last night. Glad you got it home without issue!

I wonder if that e-track can "lock" around the wheels, similar to aircraft pallets. idk.

How was the "S" turn in your driveway?

Beautiful :101010: Simply Beautiful . Now the hard part. Rezoning, movin aircraft flight patterns due to smoke & the ever popular logging’ trucks delivering wood 24/7.

    Overnight, cold, rainy.... No problem.

Cooked great! I actually had to tame the temps, not struggle to keep them up (giggity). I'm still running it manually until I get back out to see @Bigdaddy4760 and pick up the temp controller I left out there .
