Another cat story. So when I posted awhile back, until about 20 years ago I never considered myself much of a cat person. There were a few I really bonded with. One such cat belonged to the neighbor across the street and her name was Kitty Dog. Her purr was more like a low growl. Anyhow, Kittydog would occasionally hop up on my bedroom window sill and I would let her in, give her treats and hang out a bit. One day I come home and my Aunt interogativly ask me how long have I had a cat? I was shocked, uh I don't have a cat...she said well theres a cat in your bedroom closet along with a bunch of kittens. Apparently I left my window open and Kittydog decided to have her kittens in my room. I had to give them all back to the neighbor. Anyways I thought it was cool she must have liked and trusted me enough to choose my closet to have her kittens this is another that's bonded to me. Much different than her evil twin lol I can touch her paws she dont care.

It’s been a cold, rainy New Years. Caleb is a TNR that returned back to our front porch after a 5 year absence. We have all his vaccines/shots up to date and he has been living on the front porch for the last 7 months. Brought him in the house this morning so he is nice and warm, have him isolated from our other cats (he’s an asshole to other cats but loves his peeps!).

 

Thats awesome

 

He’s a good cat, unfortunately not litter box trained at this point so we'll be cleaning up for the next day or so. Unfortunately the explosive fireworks in my neighborhood terrify all the animals so we will try and keep him indoors for the next day or two. He’s sitting in my lap as I type this, cozy, warm and comfortable. That’s the best New Year I could ask for. Hope all of your cats have a good New Year and bless all of you who care so deeply for your critters.

 

Must be dinner time.
