It sounds like I should have downloaded all available tunes for 04A71 when FM was still supported. Would I be forced to pay for the tune files and/or vFtuner as lapoltba mentioned and use the flash tool?

 

And I thought understanding Bitcoin was hard.

 

I am not sure what the plan is for folks who still have the Flash Kit and are not upgrading.

Just in case, since you have a Flash Kit, you can get a vF upgrade and a Tune Pack for $79.

Want to post just one last time, starting tomorrow we are only using our forum.
Forum.vftuner.com. I may pop in here from time to time but we want to have all the useful info readily accessible on our forum.

This way we can control threads, sticky-ing stuff, etc. Making it a lot easier to find information and get to necessary posts.

We will also have control over removing clutter posts that have no relevance. That way all information is concise and to the point.


Lets all hope for a much better 2021 than 2020.

Can anyone lead me to where I can find 04B04 2.0 final premium 33 non trx 5.29 gears tune? I have an old beta and remember the 2.0 links being posted on the OV's website or first page and can't find them anymore. Thanks in advance!

Can anyone explain why older firmware versions cannot be reinstalled? Is this Techstream limitation. I have worked for several manufacturers and that seems like an odd restriction. That would drive me crazy as a troubleshooting engineer.

It is just how Toyota has chosen to handle their calibration udates. I have seen both and don't relly see either being more common than the other. Although in the past several years, it seems like downgrading is less and less likely to be supported.

 

I have them all. But I’m at the hunting camp without my laptop. If you don’t have them by Monday, pm me and I’ll give you whatever you need.

Sorry kinda confused, is there a tune pack available for 04B33? Or how soon one might be available? Trying to figure out whether or not I should update my ECU. I purchased the tune pack over the holidays but have yet to submit my ECU. Thanks everyone.

 

There is but you’ll have to wait til they reopen for business in a few days then send in a request for the tune pack.

 

We will be open starting tomorrow morning.
