Good morning to the first day of a hopefully drastically different new year! Thank you all for being wonderful friends ❤

Off to Spokane today for some shopping and possibly hitting up North40 in Idaho which is just the best everything outdoor store.

So, funny story about that but an old friend asked for our address recently and we hesitated giving it to him which he knew and followed it up with the fact that he wouldn't send us flamingos.

He's done it to our last few addresses...not that I don't love a good joke. I just hate wasting money more.

 

Sounds like flamingos are on the way.

 

Nah, we got his package a week ago and it was just some random coffee mugs he had set aside for us. I was going to be super annoyed if I had to throw away flamingos again.

Ok, flamingo story time. A children’s home here every year would have a fundraiser with those plastic flamingo’s. You would make a donation and get to send the birds to someone else’s house or business. Well one year somebody sent them to a guy who owns a welding shop here in town. Well just for fun (I guess) he took lighter fluid and a torch to the flamingo’s and took a picture of them burning. He called the person in charge and made a good sized donation and gave a person address to send the to next, but didn’t say he had torched them. The young woman who went to pick them up was very surprised when she pulled up to get them and it was just the wire legs with a ball of pink plastic on top of them. Well no one has ever sent him the flamingo’s since.

So this bugging me really bad. I have misplaced my everyday pocket knife. I've had this thing for 10 plus years and I know it's in the house. I just can't find it anywhere !!!

I once found our missing valve stem cap after a weekend of camping at our air down spot. It was a little worse for wear, but it still fit.

It's probably in the truck.
