The puddle pods are one of the favorite mods that I’ve done. Not gimmicky at all

I’m scared to sit in a Tundra. I don’t want to know how much roomier or more comfortable it is

Dude. Don't do it. :). Granted, I am keeping my new Tacoma. I really like it. And it is clearly going to be much more agile on the light trails. But oh ... the comfort ...

Thanks! It's actually ridiculous how much room there is in a tundra!

Thanks! 1st model years scare me, so glad I picked one up before the big changes.

$2.5k off msrp, $2k customer cash, $37k trade in. Being 6'2", my seat was pretty far back in the taco,so anyone sitting behind me had no leg room. That is no longer a problem lol

YES!!! That's good to hear! I had a lot of meso parts in the taco!! Fingers crossed for a Tundra taillight stage 1!!! :fingerscrossed:@MESO will the taco start button fit in the tundra?

Exactly the cabin room is crazy big! I love it. Also the V8 with the TRD exhaust doesn’t sound half bad. I’m becoming a believer. Yes the start button, ring, steering wheel badge, 4X4 blackout ring, minimalist fob all fit the 2020 Tundra, I’ve tested them myself:D

I bought the minimalist fob when I had the taco but was sure to change it back before I traded it in, I'm now using it for the tundra . I'll be keeping an eye out for the start buttons to come back into stock. Already ordered your steering wheel badge. Wish I would have known about the start button ring fitting before I ordered ajt.
Hope you're working on that total tail stage 1 for the tundra!

Finally got around to finishing some projects I’ve had for maybe 1-2 yrs (is @RivetNutBob still around to relate?) while I start another… katzkins. Already posted about the headrests and the vacuum seal trick.

Pulled the passenger seat to start/learn but needed the door panel off so I wouldn’t scratch it which was a good time to swap the chrome for oem black handles (had for almost 2 yrs).

Since the seat was out it was prime opportunity to finish my oem tailgate lock (had for maybe 1yr), I had the tailgate portion finished for awhile just never ran the harness under the truck to cab.
    75AABBE2-D557-4F4D-83C6-AA462AF7CBB1.jpg
Bought used (@tonered designed) seat risers that were painted/flaking so I stripped those (will re paint later).
    image.jpg
I broke 1 clip thinking it was a Xmas tree on the seat trim panel by seat belt so now I can’t reinstall until I get a replacement (hopefully they are opened tomorrow) bent needle nose is a must from the back not a panel pry popper (whatever it’s called)
    215E25ED-71DD-4E5A-827E-0972885E50C5.jpg
But before putting on the katzkin I installed seat heaters (much needed in the panhandle). I suggest to spray adhesive on the back rest pad because of the contour. Not doing so and just sticking with the adhesive tape on the sides leaves it lumpy. I had to remove the cover to fix that and spray the whole pad. The seat bottoms don’t need to be sprayed because it’s flat as is and the tape on the sides are enough.

now it’s raining so I’m trying to wait to pull the driver seat out, which should go much quicker now.

Can't discount the abuse from this year's fire season though.

Oh I forgot to mention the dented drivers fenders. Storm had enough wind about a month ago to tip over my vertical Rubbermaid shed. Waiting for further response on insurance and this pdr expert I’ve found (he’s a 6hr drive from me). After I seen his videos I was amazed. Look him up and watch a video- it’s crazy. Cfldentrepair.com

dents cross over 2 body lines, spans the complete panel but got lucky no damage to headlight (literally less than an inch from it) or other panels/mirror and not but maybe 1 scratch
