You off work on your bday?

 

I took most of the week off to ski and basically do whatever I want. The only thing I ever want on my birthday, besides Costco's large chocolate cake, is a drama free day. I get that maybe...50% of the time, so I'll be up on the mountain with food, beer and as far away from things that cause me stress.

In all seriousness? No. Honeywell cancelled a 6 million case (1 case=10 boxes of 100 gloves) of 4mil nitriles. We were supposed to get them in mid-December, then pushed back to end of January, then mid-February, then cancelled all together. The current outlook for raw material supply to reach demand is 4th quarter 2021. Until then, we're supposed to be selling 3mil clear vinyl gloves. (Think like the kind they wear to make the sandwiches at Subway. All the remaining stock of nitrile gloves that Fastenal has, has been corporately locked from selling unless it is to a medical provider.

We are currently using vinyl gloves...they suck. Feel like condoms on your hands and rip easily
