How would you redesign 4th Gen Tacomas?

There are several things i would consider doing on a new 4th gen Tacoma, number one is using a fully boxed frame for more strength, number 2 is I would want a new Dynamic Force Toyota engine, not the current lexus car engine, the new dynamic force engines have a long stroke, which is what is needed for towing and low end torque, I would like a normal aspirated dynamic force V6 engine with added tow package trans cooler which has been removed recently. I would also go for a new dynamic force v6 Turbo diesel, if it had ducted fuel injectors, and none of the nonsense emissions equipment now on diesels which can leave you stranded in limp mode, (diesel particulate filter, def fluid injection). And another main thing I would change is going from Hino 3rd members to Dana 44's front and rear, this should cure the 50-60 mph howl from current rear diffs. I kinda like the current 6.1 ft composite bed, I use mine to sleep in with a camper shell while camping remote, the composite really insulates from cold, unlike metal beds. Also to cure the shifty auto trans I would want higher stock gearing perhaps 4.88, Not sure they can build nice shifting high gear count transmissions? Have heard a lot of negs so far with them. I am sure some would want a manual trans and that would also be a good option if you don't live deep in the city.

I would love some low end torque and a diesel for sure.

Steel bumpers the kind you find on a truck. Manual transfer case on 4x4 models. Most importantly a more accommodating interior design.

Solid front axle option. Would make life so much easier for the offroad enthusiasts.

I'd pay an extra $10k just for the option as long as it was factory and played nice with all the electronic nannies.

Cause people buying trucks, the vast majority want trucks that look like trucks and drive like cars :(

I'd go with badge engineering and team up with Honda to build a tarted up Ridgeline.
