The JBA UCA I'd about the best value out there, his ball joint gets more travel than a uniball, and can be replaced (in a pinch) with a ford or chevy off the shelf part.

onbthe 4runner forum a lot of guys run them. Just curious about the durability. I tend to push it when I try to take it easy

There are beefy as hell. The ball joint is a custom made in house, and the tube/welding is wildly overkill.

I like mine except for the giant footprint needed for the ball joint. I have 3.6” backspacing and still rub the uca at full lock with my 315’s.

Stock width Expedition dual shock. The dual shock and single are the same price, so might as well get dual, right?

then it leads to more expensive stuff :D

Oh yeah. I’ve been eyeballing the dual. You buy bypass shocks already?

Just playing. Sometimes finances get tricky once you get married. My wife "says she is ok" with my spending habits. Sometimes I wonder.

The key is to make truck purchases sound like they are benefitting her.

“Babe if we get these other shocks then the truck will ride a lot smoother so it’s not so bouncy when you’re trying to do your makeup in the passenger seat”

“Babe in theory the supercharger can make the truck more fuel efficient and save us money in the long run. It will also make it faster when we need it to be so we aren’t late to your parents house for thanksgiving dinner.”

Helps that my wife likes to drive fast and go off road. Hurts the wallet to have 2 vehicles to build since she now needs some solid mid travel and a supercharger for her 4Runner

YEP. I just used this to get solar.

"Babe. If I get this solar setup, you can park in the driveway again. I won't have to keep my truck on a trickle charger and can park it in the street."

Exactly. I told my wife we needed King shocks so it can absorb all the bumps while the baby is sleeping.

now need to convince her on how to get bypasses :burp:

Baby growing and gaining weight, need bypasses to accommodate?

On this topic, my sliders are my wife's "steps" to get into the lifted truck.
