2 mod day. Fogs and driver’s grab handle. Beat the rain. So great concept. Minor problems to over come. Had to oblong both holes in A pillar piece. Had to go buy a proper sized clip nut. M6 bolt and they sent a m8 clip nut.

    Happy 2021 to all.
Started the new year with a few small things...
Started by cleaning the corrosion off the negative battery terminal then hit it with balistol and greased it..
    FCADDB24-405A-4F04-ADC2-CCAE42726275.jpg

Then, put in a set of the AVS “slimline” Ventshades. They don’t look too slim and i don’t think I like the way they look.
    DE1717D8-19CF-4006-AE63-323AD6451AB8.jpg

Then added another quickfist; because two is better than one.

This is the blanket Toyota of McDonnough (Jim Ellis Toyota) sent me (probably because I have been buying so much stuff from them). They are great to deal with!

    66480C23-D71A-47C5-A0E8-44633B31818A.jpg

Thought I was done but decided to swap out a couple of the bolts in the ceiling of my cap with a couple of these eye bolts.

    Because I needed a place to hang paper towels : - )

Question to those with bed mounted shovel, axe, traction boards etc. Do you guys only leave the stuff on there with a cover/cap on the truck? I don't use my bed cover basically ever because of how often I have a bike over the tailgate, but I want to mount stuff in the bed. So im torn because obviously people could steal anything mounted in the bed. Solutions to lock stuff in using quickfists?

Installed another Christmas present. 7” round LEDs behind the grill. It’s a nice compliment to the light bar in the bumper opening. I like that they are hidden back there until they’re on.

I have a tonneau, so I leave them mounted and when I have my bike in the bed, I just lay it down and close the tonneau if I'm going to leave the track unattended for any length of time.

10 years in a tundra and while it undoubtedly is spacious, seeing 24.1 MPG average after a 40 mile drive today is kickass.

Can't wait for Meso mods for my Tundra. :D
Maybe already mentioned but I highly recommend using a heat gun to soften up the adhesive. Alot more adhesive will come off with the clear film making cleanup MUCH easier.

I’m glad you said this because as someone who is 6’3” I sometimes wonder if I should have gone with a Tundra. But also, as someone who is extremely frugal the Taco just makes sense. We use my wife’s Highlander if we need more interior room.
