Dude at bLowes was cutting drywall in the parking lot so it'd fit in his exploder when I parked. I thought it was a neat idea while I was walking in. I didn't think it was so neat when I walked out and saw all the cuttings and labels he just left on the ground :homer:

Ha! It wasn't a difficult trail, Iceberg Lake I think.

I did a lot of backpacking in the past, but I haven't since 2015ish. I miss it. My pack is 20 years old this year, and has that smell - I wonder if its still good or if its starting to rot too much.

    You?

Badass, you should post pics sometime.

Yeah I do, as often as I can but haven't gone since the beginning of this year.

Posted a bunch of scenic pics the other day (few weeks ago), some of those were from backpacking trips.

Once this is over I want to check out Lost Coast; I'd look it up if I were you...if you've never heard of it that is. Even the roads out there are a sight as a huge part of the state up there is generally uninhabitable due to the seismic activity there.

That does look neat. Sounds like it might be not be overrun with tourists as well. I think I've heard the name, but I can't be sure it wasn't in relation to Half Life

Definitely one of my favorite ways to get out and about. This is from McKittrick Canyon in Guadalupe Mountains National Park with a group from work when I lived out that way.
