I know what you mean, I had to put new rears on the 4630 Ford last year. They had decent tread but had been on since new, in 1993 :D

Been loving it, the mowing season is obviously slow about now, but I actually had it out 2 days ago to knock down some weeds and break up some leaves. Just turned 10 hours on it and no complaints so far!
I’m sure that ProTurn is a sweet machine, that one was just out of my budget and in reality probably overkill for me. Those suspension seats are sure nice, was one option I thought I’d like to have. But I couldn’t rationalize it as I don’t have too rough terrain to mow, and it’s not running a commercial account jumping off curbs and whatnot, while spending 8+ hrs a day on it.
I’m really glad I went with the 52” deck for my yard, but I’m sure that 60” gets it done quick!
    Congrats on the purchase!

Yeah I’ve been very impressed with mine as well. It’s got 30 hours on it currently. But I mow 5 acres weekly. I went from an exmark walk behind to this, so was a huge upgrade for me.

Mine just clears the front of the jack maybe a 1/4” between the tailgate and front side of the jack.

My father in law has a trailer like that, about a week after buying it his jack is now an L shape because he drove over something and bent it back.

That’s why you run the jack all the way up everytime. Only hangs down an inch or so then. Toolbox came from harbor freight.
