    hey guys,

this question is for all of you long travel tacos, what lb springs are you running up front?

I have the engage LT kit with the race spindle and a 700LB spring on a access cab and it feels pretty damn stiff in certain terrain and on the street.

i want to switch to a 600lb spring, but before i do i want to hear some advice and feedback.

    so lets hear it.....:gossip:

I'm running 650's and think they are perfect. I ran 700's for a while (1250 lb corner weight on the front, 4000 lb total wet weight, gutted 05 access cab 4x4) and I kept breaking top hats, top shock bolts, and my shock towers were tearing off the frame. After the engine cage and bumping down to 650's I have had no problems. It's still stiff compared to the 550's I had, but it goes as fast as I want to go over the gnar. The biggest thing to remember is don't crank your coils down so far you get coil bind, and heavier springs are thicker so they get less stroke.

500lb on standard length, 550's on the LT (8" stroke) coilovers. I love those guys, but they set their shit up way too soft imo. They do ride nice over those expansion joints on the freeway though.
