Binged season 1 in last two days, really enjoyed it. Started season 2, seems to have a little more reality TV drama going on. Still enjoyable though.

BTW, I'm new to this thread, so I'm not sure if that has been talked about or not. I guess I should have looked back, and I will in a bit

I haven't gone through this whole thread, but what is up with the unparalleled greed of the networks these days? We have Direc, Netflix and Amazon Prime. I could dump Netflix in a heartbeat, but my wife wants to keep it. The networks want you to pay for old reruns. Amazon Prime wants us to pay for old shows now that we were watching already like Chicago P D. They blame the networks. Directv gave us a few episodes of the old Without a trace, then wants us to pay for more. They have old seasons of shows, but only show a few episodes then it's, oh you like this show? you're gonna pay now to see more chump. They may show episodes 1 to 6 then may jump to episode 15, Etc. There's nothing on TV to begin with, now they want to charge for rehashed rehash.

    Agree.

    Going to dump Netflix

Prime I get anyway, but never pay for extras. BS!

Just keep YouBoob TV and Disney.

I don't have cable TV, just Cable internet

If I were to pick just one streaming platform to keep it would be Hulu. I seem to find most of the shows I like best on there and you can subscribe to other channels like HBO, Showtime, Stars etc if you want and cancel them when you want.

Although I won't get rid of Prime either just because of the shipping deals but I probably use their streaming platform the least

Yeah, Prime pays for itself with shipping costs for sure. Netflix is a waste in my opinion.

Netflix used to be good back when it was just them and Prime you had to pick from, but they really haven't kept up with the quality of content from other platforms these days.

Yeah, what's right is right. Prime pays for itself in shipping, plus gives us access to rent some of the movies. There were few things on there that our kids who used to like as well, educational or whatever.
Netflix (Tmobile pays for our Netflix, so I'm not canceling it) lost couple of exclusive deals especially from CBS, which started streaming service as well. But, turns out there missing episodes and seasons of shows that we used to like preview some of those shows are on Hulu, which I'm not getting just yet.
I am contemplating about Disney Plus, just not convinced 100% if I need it yet

Being a fan of the Karate Kid movies from the 80s I am really enjoying this series.
    Makes you miss Mr Miyagi.

Just watched" 22 July "yesterday about the shootings in Norway a few years ago.
Really good film and it has you really drawn in to what one of the survivors went through after the attack.

what really grinds my gears is we paid for a month of CBS to watch a few seasons of their shows we missed by not having cable the past year and lo and behold...THEY DIDNT HAVE THE DANG LATEST SEASON!! They had "licensed" it to another streaming service that we didn't want at the time.

Wow. I mean the first movie was 1977, or something like that. I actually like Mandalorian the best, although the animated Clone Wars is a hoot!
