All told, cost me $9k to have the sewer line under my house lined. I dug up the front yard, backyard clean out, and bathroom and replaced with ABS. Saved myself around $10k by doing that. 20201113_182929.jpg

Maybe in the next incarnation I can have real indoor plumbing.

Speaking of electric fences I have been zapped many times . Took me years to learn when the cute girl says can you pee on the fence she is down right evil and has a future with lots of black outfits.

Doing Electrical is a fact of life for me then so is double checking with the meter when the plant electrician says the disconnect is open having some that could not tell me the plant line voltage or single or 3 phase.

I envy you guys. I never had to deal with cast iron before this, so youtube was my friend (I thought). Every video I watched was of dudes cutting and replacing sewer lines they could touch and work on..... in the basement. I hated every one of them, cause I had to dig 2 feet down under my slab to touch mine.
It's all ABS now, with a liner in what I couldnt get to, and concrete is replaced.

20210102_140853.jpg The liner they shoot into the cast iron is pretty cool. It's a sock covered in an epoxy that is smooth inside and like velcro pile outside. Then it hardens in the old pipe, essentially making a new line.

Finished my project of building a deck around the hammock steal chairs legs. Now I don't have to worry about the kiddo tripping or falling on them. Was a tough build because I don't have a lot of tools or all the right ones to make it easy. It is beefy though and able to move easily to check and tighten the stand legs reg. Now she can get in and out pretty easily.
