Installed my Christmas gift, LED tail lights, and I didn't notice it right off, but my tail lights / running lights aren't working. I checked the 7.5 amp tail light fuse, it tested good, I checked the stop fuse under the hood, and that tested ok too. So I put my OEM tail lights back in and they don't work now either...

    Any thoughts??

Identify the power wire and ground wire on wire harness and test for power.

Are you talking about full tail lights or bulbs? Either way, check inside the connections to see if any of the pins/connectors bent over. Also, what others above stated. Check power to the pigtails with meter and double check fuses with meter.

Try the 30amp fuse under the hood. Might have touched the ground with the positive

I assumed he was smart enough to disconnect the battery before removing any wiring.

If the lights worked then didn’t and no fuses are blown, at some point you’ll be kicking yourself for missing that one itty bitty wire.

I dont seem to have power going to the tail light sockets, I also noticed that my licenseplate lights are not working, and my tpms is not registering an pressure. I'm not getting a low pressure light, but when I go to the tire pressure window on the dash all it shows isdotted lines where the numbersshouldbe.

You have to be in motion for the TPMS to be working.

Did you cut and splice any wiring? When testing current, are you sure you have a good ground?

Quick ground test. Run a wire from the battery negative to the back of the truck and put your meter from your power supply to the temporary ground.

If you have voltage then yo have a bad ground. No voltage likely a circuit interrupter is open.

Do Toyotas have any fusible links in their harness?
