    I like cream cheese and cheddar. I like with butter and black pepper. I like with fried eggs. I like to let a pot full cool then pan fry them into small grit cakes. I don't love instant but I'd take them over no grits....

    Butter, cream, a little salt, perhaps some smoked paprika, and I am partial to Velveeta if I am going to add cheese. It just melts good. No cheese is just fine, too.

    Don't forget the shrimp with bacon, garlic, and cayenne pepper if you really want to do it right.
