So far I'm 0/2 on KTJO Plug & Pray® products. Tailgate opener didn't work. Sent emails, no response. Had to buy my own actuator on Amazon. Grab handle had wrong sized hardware. WHY AM I LIKE THIS?

I am 1/3. At least my Handle install was uneventful. The Tailgate opener and power folding mirrors both had problems installing.

0 for 2 usually means the “fool me twice shame on me” stage. No biggie. Most of us do it and some more than once. :anonymous:

1 for 3 would concern me . :frusty:

We only have the Taco to blame. One of the best platforms available today, Stock. Yet, we can't stop fucking with it.

If anybody had the same mods available for the Taco as she does, i would go elsewhere. But for the Power Folding Mirrors and A-Pillar handle, i wanted those even before anyone was even willing to make it. Like i said before, she has stuff no one else was willing to make, she just needs to be better with her customer service skills. Communication goes a long way. I will be honest, i am not happy with how this all went down, but if I saw another product that I cant get anywhere else that I cannot live without that only she has, i would buy it from her......I just wont pre-order. There are 3 other items i wanted but not enough that I cant live without amd dont want to deal with disappointment, so I wont be purchasing those.

Most of us ordered the handle long before the drama started. Ordered the red start switch and had no issues with shipping or communication. Both were before the ban.

Put my drivers grab handle in yesterday. Had to re drill holes to a better angle and buy a new clip nut. Bolt was m6 and clip nut that it came with was a m8.

I’ll put in my thoughts here.

I didn’t have the best experience with her when I ordered my door bowl lights. She never responded to any communication and I began to question if they would ever come. Eventually they showed up.

Being a glutton for punishment I ordered the DAH.

Ordered December 20, shipped December 27, and arrived December 30. Bear in mind I am also in Vancouver Canada. All in all not too bad.

I just did the install today and I will say allocate roughly 1 hr of time. I have had that trim apart many times so I had some confidence in what I was doing.

Bend the J clip with needle nose pliers and use tape on the lower. The insert on the bottom handle will fall out. I put tape around the compression for area to get it to stay.

From there get ready to keep spinning bolts by hand endlessly until it finally threads. I did not have to bend any metal thankfully.

Overall I’d give the product an 8/10 and install was a bit of a pain. It does feel solid and works well though. Then again I am only 170 lbs.

    Hope that helps.

Just sayin', and hope others notice, drop the nutplate on from the upper side. There is no need for tape or anything else.

Of course, the crappy instructions that KTJO posted show it all wrong and mention stuff no even in the kit.

Haha it keeps getting better. I paid for priority mail shipping, and estimated ship date is 1/11 after it got dropped off today (label was created yesterday).

Not even the illusion of 2-3 day priority mail shipping, whether she printed as priority or ground, or whether it’s just USPS and their crazy busy season not being caught up.

Agreed. I did drop it in from the top; however I still used the tape due to the clip moving more than I’d prefer. Was a pain to align the bottom too.

Does your tracking show it's priority mail? Mine shows that it is under the product information.

Just checked mine and looks like it's due to arrive 1/6, happy birthday to me! I'm not gonna hold my breath though.

Just checked. It’s parcel select. She shipped it for $0.30 cheaper.

Also paid for Priority. Label was created on the 31st, received by USPS today the 2nd. Says expected delivery the 6th. Based on how slow the mail has been here, I doubt that will happen. Just thankful it's on the way. Can't fault her for any delay now.

Been taking 2 weeks for a bill payment to get to the next state. You have to keep an eye on everything so it's not late. Almost like they are trying to push people to online payments. Probably part of the plan to do away with cash to gain more control over people.

Mine also reflects Priority Mail - left Portland Post Office at 10:09 PM on Dec 28 and list as arriving on time on Jan 4.......but it has not appeared anywhere in the system since it left Portland - just updates every day as In Transit, Arriving On Time.

    Sure.

That's messed up... I had a feeling it wasn't sent priority (sadly not surprised either). I know USPS misses the delivery date all the time, but they're usually really good at making sure to give you the false hope of it arriving in the 1-3 days.

It is actually starting to feel personal at this point. Charge me for shipping after not explaining how to settle up for shipping, I select the most reasonable option, she chooses the $.30 cheaper option as her delivery method.

Ya, my lesson learned from all this is not to pre-order. Had to be repeated a few times in my life but this time it will stick.
