I found mine at an auto wrecker for $40.00 for my 2006. I used the extra switch holes for heated seat switches and I added a dual USB charger with volt meter in one of the 12v outlets.

I swapped to the 09 on my 08. Also bought 2 2012 black flip caps for the 12v.....Alls I have is my 2008 one without any switches and 2 12v holes............fun swap as most of front of dash/console has to come apart and/or loose. Worth it though. Try to add switches/wiring while you have it apart because access is limited after reassembling.

I'm looking for a wrecked Tacoma but it's easier to find gold than a Tacoma in a auto Wreckers where I live.

That’s the 12-15 panel with 4 switch slots. If you get that one, you also need to get 1 complete power port. That 1 has 2 power ports and the hole is different than a lighter socket.

I don't get it when you say " 1 complete power port"

The 05-11 all have 1 cigarette lighter and 1 power port. The cigarette lighter hole in both of those style panels is different than the power port hole. In ‘12, Toyota did away with cigarette lighters and fitted the trucks with 2 power ports. Your 08 lighter socket won’t fit in the 12-15 panel so if you install the 12-15 panel, you must buy all 3 parts of the additional power port.

Go to car-part.com and search your area for parts that are common to most Tacos. Hood, fender, bumper, engine, etc. Search for the different options, 4cyl, V6, base, TRD, etc. This will give you an idea where Tacos are in your area. That panel is something that they probably won’t inventory, so you’ll have to do some searching.

I'd like to find one of these also. Seems impossible at this point lol. Wouldn't it be possible to just cut the cigarette lighter wires and splice them in to power the port? I was planning on taking the second port out anyways in favor of a quick-charge USB.

I looked into this at 1 time. I don’t remember the details, but the hole size is different and the plastic thickness is different, so my conclusion at that time was, no you can’t.
