Night picture update. Pretty bright when you keep a light on it for a minute. Definitely not always this bright.

Just finished this 14" relocate. Last pic truck is still on stands and not at full droop, so pumped for this

 

Pro grille installed with color matched surround. Finally convinced myself I “need” it.

I’d post pictures but it’s dark out now and garage is full. Maybe some glamour shots tomorrow.

For those of you who use bubble mirrors, what location on the mirrors do you stick it to?

 

Lower left with the angle facing down and away.

 

Finally decided to try and fix the pesky passenger side leak.

 

Do you only use drivers side? I mainly want them for blind spots in parking lots and awkward mall crawling maneuvers.

 

I do both. I would take a picture but it's currently pouring rain outside.

 

No worries. So outside lower corners are best practice?

I just don’t want to obscure any unnecessary field of view. Know what I mean? These truck mirrors are kinda small already so I took the bubble mirrors off about a year ago but I miss having the extra feature.

I just have the round fish eye convex mirror I bought from Tractor Supply Co so no downward angle or anything. Probably not the best out there I’m sure but wanted to pick some brains as I remember moving them around a couple times.

 

I feel like I've been slacking. I did use the Taco to get Cheesesteaks and cheese steak fries.

 

Put in tie downs to secure the full sized spare in the bed.


Yes, that's a janky old piece of Tupperware I've got there to keep the ratchet from rubbing against the tire.

There's still a little bit of room which isn't too bad for a shorty bed. If I ever go from 33's to 35's though... This definitely is more of a temporary set up but way better than having it loose back there.

This is the one I use. Thickest part is towards the center of the mirror.

Swapped out my ball, err knob, errr shifter top

 

Had this thing put in - The wife's newly acquired (but older) RAV4 needed a new stereo with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay capability so I put my old one in her RAV4 and Taco got an upgrade!

 

Thank you. I’ll take some more pictures tomorrow. I applied probably 3/4 of the kit, I left off some of the smaller parts. It is from B and I, they got good reviews. They don’t sell to individuals, they sent me to a distributor. Google wood dash kits and a bunch will show up. Thanks
