From what I can tell you just dump a certain amount of weight into the tires and then you just drive and they balance the tires out almost immediately. They help if you have mud caked on the wheels. @G.T. had them in his Hutchinson wheels

but think of all the fun you gain by driving like a maniac :D

No amount of balancing can fix Hutchinson wheels.

It’s been a thing in the moto world for a while.

one thing to note though, they’ll only help balance vertical not lateral

Being a good father and such, I taught my son that much can be learned about safe handling of a vehicle by driving like a maniac in safe areas :)

Note to self: avoid Hutchinson wheels.

    The beads seemed to help
They're great wheels. Heavy AF and they're dual beadlock. I'd get them for a dedicated trail rig. Only thing that sucks is they only come in 17s. And they're also DOT compliant.

Driving like a maniac definitely helps when trying to learn how your vehicle handles :anonymous:

Dyna Beads rock. Dead simple to install and use. Centrifugal force balances the tire.

Hutchies are badass wheels but are heavy. I actually ran “gasp” AT tires on mine and chuckled when my mates with MTs at 15psi would struggle for traction while I was at 5psi and just cruising through.

I'll never understand why people think wheeling with ATs is stupid. I haven't had many issues :notsure:

Because people influence with MTs. If they don’t look cool, they suck.

I've been on AT's the entire time I've been "wheeling" and the only weakness I can see is mud traction and maybe MT's are better for abrasion resistance in the rocks. Aside from mud, I don't see a traction advantage with MT's.

That said, I don't have anything against anyone wanting a set of true MT's. I'm looking at a set, even though I don't really need them. These will be a second set of tires and wheels, so why not run some great looking MT's?

And, I'm not on Facebook or Instagram. This is just something I want for my own entertainment. I fully understand wanting to stick to an AT for an all around tire. But, who cares if someone chooses to run a mud tire?

Well technically the ST Maxx isn't a full blown AT. It's a hybrid between the 2 :anonymous:
