Hello everyone, I just recently got a used snug top and it’s been working pretty good. Just today it was raining all day, I noticed there is not a whole lot but definitely some water in the bed of the truck. Is this a simple repair? Or should I try to sell the shell and just buy a brand new one?

If the window re-seal doesn't work (or doesn't address all the leakage), the way I chased down small leaks in my cap was to clean the bed out and then throw a handful of flour down in the bed, batten down the hatches, and then go nuts with a garden hose for a while. After giving it a few minutes to drip, looking inside showed exactly where the water was trailing from - there were obvious tracks in the fine powder scattered all over the place. In my case it happened to be the bottom corners of the rear door, and cleanup is easy with the garden hose you already have in your hand.

Something else to consider - I am not familiar with the beds of the 1st gens, but on 2nd gens at least, the top of the front of the bed is lower than the sides, especially with the factory covers in place, and a typical gasket between the shell and the bed can't quite make a good seal, particularly in the front corners. Several companies make bed gap fillers of various heights for different models of truck.
