I like grits in all sorts of way.

    Cheesy grits.
    Garlic grits.
    Shrimp and grits.
    Baked grits.
    Fried grits.
    Grits with tomato gravy.
    Pimento grits.
ALL THE GRITS. (As long as they aren’t runny or plain or sweet)

Too salty, yeah but grits need some salt. Kinda like putting salt and butter on your corn on the cob. Its just right.

    It’s a southern coastal specialty. It’s amazing.

You should try fried oatmeal. We cook the oatmeal spread it in a baking dish so its about 1/2" thick or so and freeze it. Next morning get it out heat up cast iron skillet butter or bacon grease cut a square out and fry it up. Super good! Can't make them super runny though

Its a staple down here you're missing out. I suggest more of the Cajun style they are my favorite with some heat!

I like mine with a little butter and some over easy eggs. Mix it all up into a big pile a little salt and pepper. Then devour

I'm from Alabama and when I moved to Colorado the first winter I missed grits so bad. My mom has given me grits for Christmas since. Last year she was in Charleston and found the bag on the left. This year she found the local bag on the right. I've eaten too many quaker instant this year as well as that's all I find around..... Enjoy the grits you have....

Ive only ever had 2 types of grits, nasty bland ones from cracker barrel and deliscious cheesy cajun spiced grits from pappadeaux.
