Was thinking awhile back that I remembered a negative 100 wind chill many many years ago then now you never hear temps that cold. Somewhere along the way I guess they changed the way feel like or windchill temps are calculated

Did someone say something about ice cream last night?
I've cut back on ice cream consumption. Just once a week now.

    Looks nice

I'm the single outlier so far. I actually like both, it's just I'm trying to get my psychological weaknesses for them reprogrammed.

Probably like 14 or 15 years ago dealt with -50 a few times. That sucked. Dangerous cold at those levels. Can only be outside for brief moments.

I just looked one up, they look good for the money.

I recently put a Sig Sauer red dot on my Hellcat, just because it was one of the cheapest ($199) and I didn’t know if I’d like it or not.

    So far I like it.

My choices are limited with the mount for my SR9C. Which Sig sight did you use?

Well, I say limited, but there are several that will work:

You have the choice to mount either a JPoint, Shield Sight Reflex Mini Sight, Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, ADE RD3, Docter/Noblex Sight C, Docter/Noblex sight 2+, Docter/Noblex sight III, Docter/Noblex QUICKsight 5.0 VR, Noblex Sight G, Burris Fastfire 2, Burris Fastfire 3, Delta Optical MiniDot, Delta Optical MiniDot II, Hawke Reflex 1×25, Sightmark Mini Shot Pro Spec, Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec, Leica Tempus, MAKdot 1×25, or Vomz Pilad 1×20.

I like both donuts and ice cream as well. But, if I had to pick, I'd pick donuts.

One of my favorites is to take a small apple or cherry pie, microwave about 25 seconds then top with vanilla. And usually not long before bedtime, probably the worst time to eat. The last 5 years the Dr. Say my bloodwork shows prediabetic. That runs on fathers side of family. I should get a grip on it sooner rather than later.

@Bigdaddy4760 , question. Last time I smoked a deer backstrap you told me to smoke it to IT of 130° then reverse sear it and then rest it for a few minutes.

I reverse seared it in a frying pan on the stove, it was delicious.

I’m doing another one this evening and my question is this, can I reverse sear it on the gas grill?

My wife cleaned out the fridge and freezer in the house, she said we need to do something with this Boston butt. I said let’s smoke it next Saturday, to the shop fridge it went. Should be thawed by next week :D

Yes, you can. But charcoal would be better. And don't light it with lighter fluid, use a chimney starter.
