    Growing up a Yank, having only ever had instant grits, I didn't realize how good they were when they were made proper. Just had them for the first time a couple months ago, love em!

    Florida Cracker Restaurant in Brooksville, Florida. They serve a shrimp and grits with tomato gravy. The grits are fried. Very good. They only take cash, no card.

    Well, the grits and biscuits at Frog and the Hen have been our fav so far. They use maple butter for their biscuits...and their cinnamon rolls are amazing.

    Keep in mind though, we are not grits connesoures :p. So if you've had those and have better recommendations, let me know too!

    I know Im a very tough person to shop for this event. But Rob did a great job.

    He got me a fake "turbo" whistle which is hilarious. And a very nice sweetshirt. Of course 2 10mm sockets both 1/2'' and 3/8'' drive(im totally stealing that idea for next year.) and the best was two dog toys for my dog.

    He likes them very much.
