Why louvers if you're just going to plug them?

    What hood latches are those?

What filament? Would be worried about it being brittle.

I need the exit airflow for when I’m in the dunes and the summer. But want to keep the rain out during the winter.

Fair enough. I guess I just figured since when you drive in the rain the engine bay gets pretty soaked anyways I wouldn't bother plugging them if I had them. Looks really clean though. Good job!

Definitely not brittle. Not sure on the specific filament. I'll see if I can find out.

If it bends and springs back, it's probably PETG, which is fine for outdoor/elements exposure. The only thing I would tell you is to coat it with a thin layer or two of epoxy resin for enhanced protection against rain/humidity/sun. PLA would be very stiff, and at times, brittle after UV exposure, and would simply start to melt away after the first year or so in the rain/heat/humidity of Georgia.

ABS would also be stiffer, but would be okay too (I'd still post-process it with epoxy resin).

You sure it wasn't your AC condensation drip line that was plugged causing the leak? I've been in water over my headlights and never had my passenger floor get wet.

Well, not until I got stuck and sat in water just an inch over my door seal for 10 minutes.

It is PLA-based filament approved for UV outdoor use.

Yeah my truck lives outside most the time so just trying to stop water from raining straight down in all the time. And the latches are by aerocatch.

    I went thru this.......
Ended up cleaning the drains on both sides from leaf buildup.....you have to remove wheel well liner.....because water would go over AC intake......
    Then,
Put a cover over AC intake, with side openings (mod explained on TW), because I had windshield replaced, and the cowl cover seal was not tight against windshield so water would come into to AC intake........also bought a new cowl cover......

the water leak, ruined my AC blower and Cabin Air filter.........

also did AC drain tube mod........(mod explained on TW)

    no more water issues.

Got as far as I can get on my lift without the new A arms and alignment cams/bolts.
Installed the wheelers +4" brake lines and bled the brakes. The fittings on the hard lines are now round, vice grips did work on them but got it done. Found one of my bleed nipples was pretty stuck, had to work it back and forth to get it back to bleed-able form.
Installed Toytec sway bar drop kit, installed new grease-able sway bar end links since I popped the boots when removing them.
Took off my softopper to re-weather seal the bars. For some reason mine got sticky and stuck to my bed rack bars ripped up when I was removing them.
Removed my bedrack mounts for re-coat when I coat my skids.
As soon as these A-arms and cam bolts get delivered its time for the front lift and UCA's. I will admit with the lift it was much easier to sit under the back end while installing the brake lines.
