My once bright dash Lights are now dim. The dimming dial can only dial down the the already barely lit dash. Is it a fuse? I thought these were LED’s that don’t burn out. It’s a 2013 reg cab 4wd. Any suggestions on how I can get my dash lights back?

Replace bulbs or go LED while you are there!

    They are already LEDs.

OP The dimmer works by changing the resistance of the ground leg of the illumination circuit. You could have a defective dimmer or a high resistance connection on the ground side of the circuit.

    Any recent electrical modifications?

It is definitely not a fuse.

Check for a burned/crispy connector socket at the dial

No electrical modifications. Everything is original. The only change is that the truck is no longer garaged. It started with this recent cold.

Definitely sounds like a resistance thing. I'd start with that dimmer switch for sure.

Try unplugging the dimmer switch. If the dash lights go full bright the issue is with the dimmer switch. If the lights remain dim you have a wiring issue with a high resistance connection.

@Jumpnj86 asked about having the same issue dated: Jan 3 2021 @ 1:14 PM...

    I know right.

They don't need to search. That is what we trained monkeys are for...
