They absorb impact like a rubber bump stop, but way better. Makes it much smoother. They are valved to be progressive.

You can read up on those particular bump stops here: https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...essories-05-up-tacoma-rear-hyd-bump-stop-kit/

    • Absorbs additional impact energy over the OEM rubber bump stop and returns the axle in a more controlled manner

Purchased a multi-size pack of sandpaper , 320 to 80. The powder coating was fairly thick with a primmer coat under that, used a small electric hand sander and around and around...it takes a bit.

Removed bolts, started with the 80 corse and worked down to maybe 220, the higher grit makes it more smooth and shiny. This is my second set to work like this, had 17’s on my old Tacoma. I used a clear coat on the first set, but this set I’ve left bare, they still look great.

    My old setup.

How bad is the install? I've got a similar setup from archive garage on the bench. Need to get around to installing it.

These small things add up to a big, useful truck that won't get caught out, stranded, or rescued. Nice work man.

Has anyone ever installed the blue sea fuse box that has the 6 constant fuses? As in they’re always hot. Car can be off and whatever’s connected to those 6 will still be able to be turned on. Wondering if this will drain the cars battery, even if I add relays and switches to each of the 6 circuits.

Just the block itself won't. If there's nothing on, there's no draw.

That's exactly what I did but in BBP.

Easy enough to put hot on all six in a fuse box (or breaker box). As s7726 has stated, that will not drain the battery as long as there is no draw on the circuit. If you use a relay, if should fail open when away, thus no draw on the circuit/battery. If you use a switch it should be open/off when away, thus no draw on the circuit/battery. I will suggest a main on/off switch between the battery and the fuse box. Put it in the off (open) position and there will be no chance of drain. You can also use a relay switch that is tied to the ignition run and use that power source as the control for the isolation relay, i.e. when you turn the ignition to off, the relay gets no power and fails open. When you go to ignition run, the relay gets power and fails closed and you have the hot six circuits.

This is a similar common setup with dual batteries in one machine.

I'm curious where you end up height wise in the back. I went with the same setup as you except with OME shocks about 2 years ago and it sits basically level, but a little lower in the back when I tow my boat or load it down. Im thinking of trying to find an AAL that will give me some more height or replacing them with a new leaf set.
