    Eh its possible but when my driveshaft was out of balance I pretty much felt it all the time so it may be unrelated. Might look at some other possible culprits. Could be wheel balance, axle angle, who knows.

    My truck sounds like an airplane now at cruising speed (65mph). I'd advise people to maybe stay away from Nitro gears if they dont like gear howl. Third truck with Nitros and my last.

    Same shop installing all of your re-gear?

    Every rig you’ve had with Nitros has run into this problem?

    How many miles do you have on the gears?

    I’ve had three different shops, three different setups. 01, 06, and now a 19. All of which howled. Same shop I went to for my 5.29s installs Yukon and Revolution with no gear howl. Every single person I know with Nitros has howl.

    They are just notorious for howling and that is 0 issue with me. I know most 3rd gen owners are snowflakes though when it comes to noises so I figured I’d add my opinion :)

    Nope and I drive a lot of different trucks. Maybe some guys are doing some cyro treatment or something, but my gears from ECGS twice and Premier once all howl(ed).

    Just something to keep in mind. No reason to take offense about a gear brand you run; there’s a reason I’ve bought them three times. I haven’t heard or seen anyone with Revolution gears, or Yukon too that have howling issues.

    I’m keen to go back to the shop and have them check backlash, as well as the gears over again. I’ll update then :)

    Same thing (noise with Nitro) 4.88's as well? Because I know no one with Nitro 4.88's that "howl" (or any noise)

    It could be just for the sake of volume. I imagine the ratio between Nitro and another brand is probably close to 9:1 but I’m only guessing.

    Yeah I’ve probably driven 15+ rigs and all Nitro ones (cause I ask) have howled. I know how people on tw get when someone has a disagreeing statement with their experience :rofl:
