And installing a backup camera in a vehicle with the license plate below the tailgate is easier than one with the license plate ON the tailgate...

Yeah; You’d have to run the up the rear pillar and then back down into the tailgate on a Subaru...

My Mustang's original owner was a fireman, he had some kind of antenna on the rear window and a coaxial cable that ran all the way up to near the shifter.

I think it would be even worse in a 3-door sedan!

I tore all of that crap out of the car except for the antenna base, it is firmly attached to both sides of the glass. I often wonder if they actually drilled a hole thru the glass or just glued both pieces on the glass, either way it's not removable.

I’ve decided to turn my original Toywerx grille into a showpiece of sorts; Once the Raptor-style grille is ready, I will get this one signed by everyone who is directly or indirectly played a role in making my truck what it is!

Don’t have any experience with putting it in a truck bed but I’ve laid it in probably 30 houses (I flip houses).

Whatever brand you go with make sure it does not have a cork back or anything like that.

Lifeproof vinyl planks are a good choice for the money, as they’re sealed and have a good amount of wear layer.

So, with the exception of October 2013 (when my dad's mechanic did the emissions test and safety inspection on my truck; Possibly 2010 as well), my truck has been inspected at Thompson Toyota every year between 2010 and 2019; This year, for the first time ever, I had my new regular mechanic Pete inspect my truck. I have always used Carfax as a log of how many miles I've driven my truck in a year, and was disappointed when the 2020 inspection didn't appear on my truck's Carfax report within two weeks. Pete told me that unlike the dealer, he does not log that stuff "into the system" the ultimately reports it to Carfax; I was absolutely sure that PennDOT logged all inspections (and the vehicle's mileage at the time of the inspection) into Carfax regardless of who did the inspection. Turns out I was right!

I checked my truck's Carfax report just now, and it's showing that it passed emissions on August 17th, 2020 with 116,279 miles on the odometer; My dad's Yukon and my truck have inspection stickers that expire in October of every year, but Pennsylvania allows these to be renewed up to two or three months prior to the actual expiration while still retaining the original month! My dad and I were both busy with work, and we both brought our respective vehicles to Pete almost two months before the stickers expired...

Intermittent wipers was mine unless you count Weathertechs.

Thinking out loud, could it maybe have been a car phone back when they had to be hardwired?

Damn I have cats bigger than that thing
