@Coupe My post wasn't intended to be negative (bad battery pun). This is a solid product with the fit and finish you'd expect at this price point. Customer service was quick to ship item out once ordered. My previous post was not implying that there was a problem with the product or the producer, just a quick post to see if it had happened to anyone else. Again, sorry if there was any misunderstanding.

I was not offended. I just was supplying information so buyers can make an informed choice.

$95 Shipped, as per his original post.

Well worth it for a custom, low production 2 color powdercoated adjustable aluminum bracket, with mounting hardware included! From the Dealer, a stock bracket and hardware would be over 50 bucks with tax.

Hey guys need some help.I just received the battery tie down from coupe for my 1999 pre-runner.I have 1/2 gap up front so I used the spacers. Now my hood won't shut. I have a battery from AAA (24F) and the height is 8 inches.Do I need a shorter battery or is there another solution? P.S. If I need a different battery what is your recomendation.

Mine's a 24R, which is the same dimensions as a 24F. I also have a gap up front requiring the use of both rubber spacers he provided, but I have no problem closing the hood. I haven't gone out to measure the height of the battery, but according to the specs for my particular battery (O'Reilly's), they're 9" tall.

Got my tie down figured out. I lost one of Coupes spacers behind my grill and used a bigger replacement.Thats why my hood would not shut.Totally my fault.
