On the side rail itself it’s 4.5”, to the end of the cap you pull out to insert 5” . It’s a little over 6” to the cab portion of truck

so from the forward most point (where the front bed rail is) to the rearward most (the edge of the side closest to the rear of the truck) is 5".

I'm not sure what cap you're talking about, as the front bed rail and that center cap should end on the same plane?

I think he was saying that the forward most point to the rearward most point is 6".
If the bed rail end cap is left in place, there is 4.5" of usable bed rail.
If the bed rail end cap is removed, it allows for a total of 5" of usable bed rail.

Correct me if I'm wrong on that @RuckusTRDPro

I think so..I guess how far on the bed side does it it go into the side rail. Could you measure that from the front inside corner of the bed?

As you can see, the green arrows on the screen grab indicate the distance / material that would interfere with your bedrack. That measurement is 5".

    upload_2021-1-4_12-1-34.jpg

The distance between the center bed rail red line, to the edge of the bed rack mounting foot is what needs to be at least 5" for the bike mount to work.

    upload_2021-1-4_12-7-22.jpg

I think the answer to your question is 5".

Unfortunately shipping a heavy and large box costs more than I’d like it to, and I’m not doing Amazon numbers which would qualify me for better rates. Maybe one day though!

no group buys or plans for group buys at this time.

Will these work with a Extang Trifecta tonneau? I am looking for a side carrier that will work with the cover in place.

It looks like the clamp for the rear tire might stick up too high.

    https://squareonecreations.com/blogs/news/what-is-compatible-with-the-sideride-bike-mounts

What a coincidence! I was just finishing up this blog. I'm not sure if the Extang Trifecta Tonneau is the same as the Solid Fold, but the Solid Fold is compatible according to some customers :)

LOL, timing is everything. Is there a possibility you have more images of the mount with the solid Extang cover? My assumption if it works with the solid cover it should work with the soft trifold cover. My only concern is the upward protursion of the clamp for the rear wheel. I am looking to get 2, one for each side but I want to keep the cover also.

    Thanks for the info.

Edit: Any measurments and images of how high and how far out the bed clamp for the rear tire fits?

haha it really is! And unfortunately that image was shared by a customer several months ago, so I'll have to do some digging to see if I can find some photos

Thanks again. Hold off on finding more images. I don't want you to waste your time if there is already one here. I tried to search for the info prior to positng but I missed it earlier. It looks like there is one in this thread. Let me reach out and see if the poster has the info.
