vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

    Here is what I seen so far, I've increased the airload maps and my timing has dropped as low as 8 to low teens (more the air increase...more the timing drops) under heavy loads. When I go back to the using stock airload maps and even Matts maps my timing hasn't been that low.

    Yea send me what you've got! I messed with the intake timing but even advancing the intake 5 degrees the knock F/B value is starting to react so I've been working on dialing down the ignition. Just so you know what I've been doing to test that, I have a nice stretch of road after a 40 min commute where I can cruise at 60 mph. I try to pin the load at 60% and monitor the ignition. It always floats around 22 degrees. I've changed this range in the maps by as much as 10 degrees without seeing any change in the real world..

    What I find interesting:
    A member told me these tables we updated to almost match exactly what A33 has as "factory" settings. Or damn close to it. I have not yet verified that statement.

    I am currently running the lambda .999 from the original 2.0 as both my lambda .821 and .999 on my current tune and have found it to be a good compromise between the two. Stock 2.0 vs OVs suggested values.

    Kings 2.5 with adjusters, icon rxt stage 2. SCS stealth blue on 35s
    They are a bit different still. I keep going back to the settings of Mats 2.0 tunes there is something that feels right when you don’t mess with them. Idk about performance but the throttle feels better and seams to hold gears better before I started playing with the air tables. It’s like you adjust one little air table and it changes 3 things throttle, shifting, and torque

    I bought 4 credits a few days back and got a message via email to request credits within vftuner yesterday morning and did that but still just have 1 credit. how long does it typically take to get the credits added in vftuner?

    The numbers are identical to stock B04 ecu.
    Id like to see 19800 ( Fall 2019) in vf format

    So in the Airload examples Mat gave us, all we did was changed both lambda tables to be the same as the .999?

    For control airflow anyways. I'm purely going of mental notes. Nothing in front of me to verify.
