between those places you’re sure to find a pack. The pack I got had both M6 and M8 in it. Believe I paid a little over $4 for the pack. Might send KTJO the bill :bananadead:

you can send the M8’s back to KtJo as a joke but they’d probably end up in a drivers grab handle kit..:rofl::rofl:

Was out wheeling hard enough to knock my storage box loose. Handle is at least good to go for that.

Same, Expected delivery was the 30th (no movement since arrived at Seattle). Then the obvious arriving late. It shot past me by 4 hrs on the 1st… nothing since. It needs to go back the other way, 2 hrs past me again to get in my main distribution center and then to local post.

normally if I see it make it to and leave Pensacola by 3/4am my local post will get/deliver that day

Mine finally showed up today after 13 months. My covers are correct and I have 2 matching bolts so I'll take that as a win.

I think the label generation is semi-automated. I chose FedEx ($5 more than USPS) and the tracking number I got is FedEx :notsure:

    Mods? Yes.
    2021-01-04 17:00 PT: Installed. Took 15-25 minutes.

My tips for good simple install:

    • Do not fully place the trim into its final position before threading the bolts
    • Try starting the threads while the handle is disconnected from the trim
    • You are not wrong, they don't line up well
My tips for not caring so much:
    • Remove and install the passenger one and tell me how perfectly, how magically, how wondrously it lines up.
    • Drink a beer, have a smoke, pet your dog.
It's been good hanging with you tossers (handlers?), but I shall unwatch this thread and never forget.

Received mine and the Hardware is correct, received two lower Tab-Bolt Covers and Either one will lock-Snap into place. I’m going to try some OEM Tabs. Both top and bottom. There’re on order.

Just sayin' but @HFDane and you would have had an easier time bending the clip. I'm pretty convinced that the design was done on a Taco or cab model that was way out of tolerance to start.

If you notice weird gaps (shadows) around the top or at the door seal, bending will fix that.

I'd really be interested in how the OEM covers work out for you. Also, can you share the OEM part numbers you found for those pieces?

I will agree with that wholeheartedly. The sample should have been tested on like 5 trucks, or simply had more tolerance in the mold.

As for gaps, the gasket could touch a little better, but it is cold and I am very familiar with things being problematic in low temps :anonymous:

Anyway, no snark toward you or anyone else necessarily intended! This is definitely NOT an OEM quality part!

    :hattip:

    Absolutely no snark taken!

It is quite apparent that the seller has no experience in the design of interfacing parts or the tooling world and crutched too heavily on online relationships. Lesson learned here.

Bummer. Welp I need to source a Top Tab then. Thanks Tony.

Looks like they aren’t going to work.

I looked up the part # of the Handle itself that came in the kit and it came up on a Toyota Parts Site.
I figured the OEM Tabs will work and called my contact parts guy and ordered them.
