My experience with convicts wasn’t really that they were aggressive but they bred like rabbits and took over

To me it was always after a water change. The fish partied on and a few days later some fish had a mouth full of babies.

I would net them and put them in the 1 gallon tanks. When the babies were released I would put the mama/papa back into the main tank.

I never sold the fish, I just gave them away.

We had an 88 gallon tank at work long ago, with an 8" oscar and a bunch of small South American and African cichlids. Feeding day was always dramatic and drew a crowd as 2 dozen feeder goldfish met their fate - swallowed whole by the oscar and nibbled to death by the convicts and other cichlids.

We forgot to double-feed them at Thanksgiving, and came back to work on Monday with 4 convicts, an oscar skeleton, and a nervous Plecostomus. The other cichlids didn't stand a chance after the oscar fell. The convicts took over like a street gang.

We eventually drained the tank and turned it into a snake and spider habitat for all the tarantulas that would wander into our building. They were fun.

These are always difficult because the photos are old and you have to stitch different pictures together, but it's always so worth it when the owners receive them.
One more layer on the dog and I can get to working on the cat

I cast and turned my final pen for 2020. I was going to use it as a sample of some of what I can do but the first person that saw it on New Year's Eve wanted it so I no longer have the pen.

Nice! A lathe is on my wish list. I just got the Dremel Jackpot so I’m working on my power wood carving. Turning pens and rings is on my future to-do list.

It's an addictive hobby. When you get set up and ready I can make some Captain America pen blanks for you.

Got a friend building a 280Z in need of a larger/heavier shift knob - was a fun weekend project. Don't have a lathe but was able to do a 2-sided setup on my CNC.

    IMG_0442.jpg
    IMG_0446.jpg

Sanded down and filled with lead shot / epoxy for extra weight
    IMG_0892.jpg

Finished prototype... need to find a piece of mahogany to make one that matches his steering wheel now.

Been trying to get better at digital art. My logo for my dice business was a collaboration between a friend of mine who does digital art for a living and I. Finally got my stickers in today
